Hi, it’s Christina.

Yesterday, Friday, I went for a walk after school with Dad. I called the neighbor and he came along too. I like it when my neighbor comes along cuz he pushes my wheelchair and then I can hold Dad’s hand.

We don’t go super far. Dad says we go a mile. It was cool again this afternoon so I had to wear a coat. It was kind of windy too. Dad put my hood up, not a fan.

After we got back Dad did my cares and then we figured out what to have for supper. Dad and I are working on this during my bedtime routine. I’m nonverbal so I have to be asked questions that I can answer yes or no. I have a sign that I use for no and then I vocalize a yeah. For the blog post, dad asked me questions and I tell him if I want to share it. So it has to get my approval.

I think this might be a lot of fun. And it is something that Dad and I can do together. And it’s good to have a journal or a diary. I like to share and be social and dad likes to talk about me. We’ll make a good team.
