Bird Museum

On Wednesday Christina went to the bird museum at the university. She enjoyed the time with peers. About three quarters around the displays and she started letting me know I was looking at too many stuffed birds.

Many years after putting bird seed out here, we have a large variety of birds that come to visit. Christina helps make suet. The last time she also helped to fill the log feeder.

I find the birds more entertaining than Christina. She often is not thrilled when I fill the feeders or top off the bird bath. I do not have her help filling the regular feeders often as it takes several days for all of the seeds to get cleaned off her chair. And her clothes seem to hide seeds after each fill.

I miss the large number of songbirds that came to the last place. Not to mention the wide variety of species. We had a colorful view when sitting at the dining room table. And the songs were nice to hear. Here we get a wide variety of birds, but not as many of the songbirds. It is still enjoyable to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the birds no matter what kind they are.

I also want to mention that if you follow Christina’s medical journey and have trouble with the password, please let me know. We can figure out the trouble and get it resolved.

I’m going to try again and see if my message goes through. Not sure what I did to get it to go. I just love the pictures and the blog about the birds. I love you Christina and wish a very nice day with your dad. Love grandma Patti

Love her smile! I prefer the home environment watching birds enjoy the seed or duet of song. It’s free entertainment and excellent meditation.
