Today Christina went to David R. Obey Ice Age Interpretive Center. Christina enjoyed seeing peers with Beyond Limits Day Service. We met them there. It was a longer drive and Christina enjoyed looking at the scenery. The drive home was enough additional visual stimulation to really wear Christina out.
We saw turtles, birds, snakes, logging gear, and glacier displays. There was a lot of stuffed animals and various bones, antlers, old gear. Even a bunch of skulls to compare.
Dad learned a lot about the trails that start at the center. There will be another trip there in the summer for sure to explore the trails. The staff were super helpful and shared a lot about the trails and where we should be able to venture and places that may be too much of a challenge.
