Christina woke up hurting this morning. Her cries woke Dad up. What a way to start a Saturday morning. Seeing your child’s tears never gets easy. Knowing that they hurt every morning and that this morning was enough to bring tears makes you feel small.
It did not take long to get the meds prepped and given. Figuring out what parts we’re hurting and giving a quick massage helped the cause. Christina was smiling and laughing before long. Most of that probably laughing at Dad trying to rush while still not being quite coherent.
I did manage to hit the on button on the coffee maker while getting Christina her meds. That brought the usual eye rolls when I would tell Christina that I needed to fill my coffee cup. A good sign we were reaching a normal morning routine.
The morning excitement prompted me to put up a post. And reminded me that I have not been updating for a while. Christina has upcoming injections on Monday and her pre-op physical was yesterday. I will try to give more detail within the next few days.
