Christina had injections today. The usual phenol and dysport. She was super excited to come to the hospital. Sometimes I wonder if she gets excited to see the nurses or if she is that excited because she knows the injections help with her muscle spasms. Maybe it’s both.
The doctors already came out and said everything is good. We have a follow-up appointment already scheduled for June. The doctor did mention that it is getting harder to find nerves to use for the injections. And at our follow-up, we’ll discuss possible changes to medication. We can try to change the medication to help the muscles and not rely as much on the injections.
Just waiting to hear from PACU And then we can finish up and kiddo can go get her cheeseburgers and french fries. The scheduled surgery start was at 13:30 so when we are having lunch it could almost be a very late supper. The schedule tonight going to be weird. No matter how late in the afternoon Christina has a lunch. She always wants to have supper also. Routines help keep everything normal
